π Direct Admission to OS-CIT βAβ
- Course Type: Certificate Course of OS-CIT, offered by OKCL and certified by OSOU (Odisha State Open University).
- Course Structure: This program includes two courses: β’ 3-Month OS-CIT Course (Basic IT Foundation) & One 120-Hour OCOC (OKCL Career Oriented Course) Students can choose any one OCOC from the available list to complete OS-CIT βAβ.
- Classes: All OS-CIT and OCOC classes are pre-recorded and available 24Γ7 on the MKCL ERA Live App. Students can access any session anytime during their course duration and must attend both OS-CIT and OCOC classes.
- Internal Assessment: OS-CIT internal exams remain the same as on the OS-CIT course page. For the OCOC course, assessments include both MCQ and Practical Tasks depending on the chosen course. Example: Students choosing Tally with GST will have both multiple-choice and Tally practical questions.
- Final Exam: After completing classes and internals, students become eligible for the final university exam. The university issues two admit cards β one for OS-CIT and another for the chosen OCOC course. Each paper carries 50 Marks (OS-CIT + OCOC). On clearing both exams, students receive three certificates: 1οΈβ£ OS-CIT Certificate 2οΈβ£ OCOC Certificate 3οΈβ£ OS-CIT βAβ 6-Month Certificate
- Exam Month & Duration: Standard duration: 6 months. Students can appear for the final exam after 3 months if they complete their classes and internals early. Example: Join in January β Complete by March β Eligible for April exam event. Exams can be given together or separately for OS-CIT and OCOC.
- Certificate Process: Within one month after the final exam event, OSOU publishes certificates on its official website. Students can download their certificates using their Learner Code. Hard copies are dispatched by Ama Computer Academy via speed post or can be collected from the office.
β‘ Upgrade to OS-CIT βAβ (After OS-CIT)
- Course Type: Students can upgrade their existing OS-CIT course into OS-CIT βAβ at any time β either while continuing their OS-CIT course or after completing it. Both upgrade options are available for all learners.
- Course Structure: During the upgrade admission, students must choose their preferred OCOC (OKCL Career Oriented Course). They will study that selected OCOC course, complete its internal assignments, and appear for its final exam as part of the OS-CIT βAβ program.
- Final Exam Eligibility:
β’ If a student has already appeared for the OS-CIT final exam, they only need to give the OCOC final exam.
β’ If a student has not yet appeared for the OS-CIT final exam, they must appear for both β one OS-CIT and one OCOC final exam.
After successful completion, the University issues the OS-CIT βAβ certificate. - Duration: The upgrade duration is 3 months from the date of admission. For example, if a student upgrades in January, they can appear for the final exam from April or any later month β not before 3 months of joining.
- Exam Scheduling:
Students who have their OS-CIT exam earlier can request to postpone it and appear for both OS-CIT and OCOC final exams together in the next monthβs exam event.
This flexibility helps students complete both parts conveniently within their schedule. - Exam Pattern: The final exam is fully MCQ-based (no practical). However, the internal exam includes MCQs + assignment-based tasks for better understanding and skill evaluation.
- Books & Materials: OKCL does not provide printed books for the OCOC course. All study materials and practice content are available digitally through the MKCL ERA Live App.
- Certificate Process: After the certificate is published by OSOU, students can collect it directly from the Ama Computer Academy Head Office or request delivery through Speed Post to their registered address.
